Combine Multiple Leagues for One Super League
I'm interested in creating a relegation style league that involves the teams from a few of the user created quick starts with the teams from the MLB. For instance, what would it be like if there were multiple tiers of leagues with the MLB at the top, NABA second, GBA third, and maybe the Nippon Baseball league fourth for good measure? Each would have their minor leagues intact, same salary rules, etc. Teams could trade across tiers as well as sign Free Agents across tiers. After each season, I would manually promote/relegate teams from each tier based on a system I will come up with.
The reason that I'm posting this in the Database Tools forum is that I'm not sure how to combine the databases from the various leagues. Can anybody help me or point me in the right direction on how to go about accomplishing this? Once I come up with a quick start, I'd be glad to post it. |

It does take a bit of fiddling about, but very do-able.
Set up each league as a different game. When you are happy with a particular league go to Game Setup - Global Setup - in the bottom right hand corner you will find the Templates button, which enables you to save world as template. At this stage you should pick one of the games to be your "master league", as this will not need to be saved to a template (unless you want to). Then it is a case of going into the " master league" and bringing in each template via that same "Template" button and selecting "Add template to world" . Hope this helps.
