Can't get back to game

Was fiddling around with the smaller quickstart option in full screen mode. Alt-Tabbed out to print the manual. Now I can't get back into the game. Windows task manager says it is running but if I click on it just throws me back to desktop.

What if you tab back and wait a minute? If not, Alt-Ctrl-Del and end process.

Were you in the middle of auto-playing? Sometimes, if the game is "thinking," it takes some time to return control to the screen.

I tried waiting and stuff. If I click on OOTP2006 or tried to alt-tab back in , the screen would flash black then return to the application I was running or the desktop. I eventually just ended the program through task manager, have rebooted and will try again.

OK, I'd be interested in hearing what happens. I did really heavy alt+tab stuff while writing the manual, and never saw this issue.

Are you in full screen, or windowed mode?
