blurry text

Not a huge problem, but much of the in game text looks a bit blurry (very soft text), sort of a slight double vision effect. For example, the statistics page. it's mostly the smaller/fine text. Pages that allow you to open in the exteral browser look fine outside the game but have the blurry effect in game. I tried both windowed and full screen.

Is this because I'm running on an LCD at 1280x1024? if so, is there anyway this can be improved for those of us running on this res?

Thanks

I am running at the resolution and do not have that problem. Are you full screen or in a window? What video card do you have?

Which skin?

I felt the same way about the blue skin, but the brown/green skin is much "crisper," IMHO.

I tried windowed and full but it didn't seem to make a difference. I'm running a AIW radeon x800XT. I will try another skin in a minute.

You can also trying enabling/disabling ClearType. In Windows XP, right-click on the desktop, select Properties, select the Appearance tab, select Effects and ClearType should be the 2nd box. Trying switching it on or off and see if that helps.

yeah, I tried clear type but it didn't make a difference. It only made everything else (windows, IE, firefox) look too soft as well. I don't know, maybe it's just the way it looks. it's still legible and all, I'm just not a fan of the soft text look. I'll get used to it though. switching to the brown skin did help a bit too,.
