Logos not working

Okay, I downloaded some player pictures and they work great! Logos, however are not. I created a historic league, 1972 to be exact. I download a couple different logo packs for ootp6 and it doesn't seem to be getting picked up. I'll use the Twins for an example. I have a file called
Minnesota_Twins.png and it is located in

{game home}\data\saved_games\{league}\news\html\images\M innesota_Twins.png

It doesn't pick up, even after shutting the game down and restarting.

Anything I'm missing?

Double-check that the logo file name is matching the team name in the game. I see a space in your listing of the file name; I'm presuming that's merely a typo in your post but it goes to show that simple mismatches can happen and not necessarily be noticed.

It may be worth confirming that the logos are indeed proper PNG files as well.

Yea, that was a typo....but I did notice some of the files did have spaces...so there should be NO spaces in logo file names, right?

Bump.

I'm having serious logo issues as well.

I tryed plugging one in in the proper location, per Steve's sticky, and it never showed.

Then I took it out of the folder and IT SHOWED UP!!

When it wasn't showing, things were totally hosed. On the top bar where you see your team name and a partial logo on each side, the leftside logos were proper to the teams, but the rightside logos were the wrong team abbreviations and colors!!

It was a pretty cool effect, but not exactly what I was going for.

I still haven't been able to get a logo to work properly.

TIA for a step by step with any help.

-E

Did you first exit the game before adding logos to the appropriate folder and then restart the game afterwards?

Nope. I figured it out a little bit later and then had to leave the house.

Thanks. It helps when you read the italicized text in Steve's stickies.

Okay, so I can't get logos to work now. I saved some great logos on a site mentioned around here for my historical replay. I am currently in 1906. I used Irfanview to change them all to .png and moved them to the correct folder. However when I start up the game, there's just the banner on the team name, no logos. Oh, the humanity!

Hi, and sorry for the slow response.

Please grab a copy of the Customization Guide, which was recently updated with logo customization information:

BUG: Numbering of Ties in Leaderboards

This should answer most of your logo questions. If you are still unable to get your logos to work based on these instructions, please let us know!

Thanks,

Steve

Since we haven't heard further on this matter, I'm going to move this to the Closed/Claimed Fixed forum. Please let us know if you'd like to discuss further!

Thanks,

Steve
