Error Installing Patch-- Anyone seen this?
When I run the patch setup, I receive the error "Could not locate OOTP Baseball 2006 installation folder, please browse and open ootp2006.exe".
When I browse for and find the .exe, I receive another error, "Unable to install update - installed version information is corrupt". Any thoughts on how to resolve? |

I am also getting an error with the patch but a different message.
ootp2006_patch_101.exe is not a valid application it will not let me open it up anyway. Am I doing something wrong here. I am new to this so any help would be appreciated. |

Seems to me I had to clean out cache and download again when it happened before

Please do this: 1. Uninstall the game. 2. Download the game again from here: http://www.ootpbaseball2006.com/down...=download&id=1 3. Reinstall the game. This should take care of the issue, and you will be up to the latest patch version. I hope this helps... Steve |

What worked for me was to turn off my firewall protection - temporarily, then re-download the patch. I had no problems after doing this.
