I'll try to be as detailed as possible. I'm trying to update a roster set to current MLB rosters, but to do that, I need to "Set all teams to NOT allow roster changes". Otherwise, the AI undoes the work I've done. So I turn the option on to restrict movement. Then I go to the "Player Editor" and use the "Team Information, Select new Team" option. But when I do this and then view the "Transaction Overview" section of the player's new parent team, the player doe not show up on the roster. Using the search function, I can still find the player and it shows him on the right team, but he cannot be viewed from any other screen. To avoid this, I have to go back to the "Game Setup" and allow AI changes, search for the player, move him to another team and then back to get him to show up. Then I have to "Set all teams to NOT allow roster changes" and hope that no moves have been made. Hopefully someone can replicate this and find a solution.

Now it just puts them on the active roster no matter what type of contract they have and even if it means taking the active roster over the limit.

I'm mainly placing players on minor league teams. I'm not really sure what you are talking about.

FWIW, I'm able to replicate that problem. Just one question...why do you need to disallow AI roster changes prior to making any of your changes? It doesn't seem to me that any AI roster changes ever happen while the human player is active (until you advance a day), so it seems enough to disallow AI changes once you're done with your roster fixes. Maybe I'm missing something here...

I could be wrong, but I believe when I was attempting this, when I moved a player the team adjusted to it. You may be right.
