MAC: HTML Pages

I just did a fresh install after the patch (had a crash when I tried to upgrade). I started a new league, and started unemployed. I simmed one year and was looking at the league's home page. I selected "Open in external browser".

This worked fine. I got the league home page open in Camino. However, if I click any links from the home page, that link's HTML page cannot be found. I get things like:

The file /Applications/OOTP Baseball 2006/data/saved_games/FBL.lg/news/html/leagues/league_1_draft_log_0.html cannot be found. Please check the location and try again.

or

The file /Applications/OOTP Baseball 2006/data/saved_games/FBL.lg/news/html/players/player_986.html cannot be found. Please check the location and try again.

Now initially, the game installed by default at /Applications/OOTP Baseball 2006/OOTP Baseball 2006/. I changed it to the correct location of /Applications/OOTP Baseball 2006. I still receive the same indications.

USN, this is simply because the game generates HTML files "on the fly." When you open the report in an external browser, the game is no longer controlling the html files, so it can't generate subsequent files on the fly.

If you want to be able to view all of the reports in an external browser, you could run a set of online league reports. That would store copies of all of the html files on your PC, so that these external links would open successfully.

Hope that helps.
