Question Catcher's arm changes

I posted this before but I thought it was a fluke. but I noticed this again in a game I play last night. My starting catcher has always had a 44 arm. In 2 of the last 3 games he played in, his arm jumped up to 56. I also note that the games before the jump, he didn't play.

Someone suggested the game may be reading his rating as his arm, but his rating is in the 80's somewhere so that can't be where the 56 is coming from. In fact, there are no 56's listed anywhere in his ratings. I don't know if this is a bug or if he has started using steroids. Anyone else notice this?

I have not noticed this but I play out the majority of my games so I'll take a look.

Honestly, I haven't seen this but I do recall yout mention of it recently. Can you tell me on what screen you see the ratings comparison appear differently or is it on different screens. Also, if this happened in 2 of his last 3 games and it appears to occur after games he misses, are you saying he's playing every other game? Are you platooning this catcher? In addition, if you can, provide screenshots. We'll see if we can figure out if this is a glitch or --doubt it-- there's another explanation.

Sometimes the game seems to display SISA ratings in game when you had previously set it to show your head scout's. Could this be affecting it?

That's actually my suspicion, that it's related to a scout's view for the reason you mention. I've also noted that, on occasion, when utilizing the Act As function - rightly or not - the scout from the previously Acted As team will shadow for a page or two into the next team's screens. It may just be in the header (showing scout's name), but I'm curious whether it also carries over to evaluations on-screen. Keep forgetting to watch for this occurence. And . . . it may indeed be eliminated in the final build.

Yes, last night when playing a game I did check to see what the SISA ratings are and they show his arm as 56. I always like to use my own scout's ratings since he is such a good scout, plus there are no incomplete ratings with my scout, and I reckon I forget to change it to his ratings. I hope one day they will set the game to remember what scout you had it set on so you don't have to manually change it every game.

Great, glad there's an answer to that one. Move to Closed.

OTOH, the scouting settings should stick, as StyxNCa pointed out. Is this logged separately somewhere?
