Problem installing patches
I just got a new computer and installed the game on it.
Now every time I try to patch the original version to either 1.01 or 1.02, I get an error saying: "Unable to install update - installed version information is corrupt" What is that all about??? Can someone please help!! Thanks!! Jason HP Pavilion Intel D CPU 2.8 GHz 2 GB RAM 250 GB HD, 90% free space Running XP Media Center Edition SP2 |

Did you actually install the game or just try and copy the files and info? If you installed it I can't think of a reason why you'd get this message but try uninstalling and reinstalling.

I did a new installation. I did have a problem with the license though.
I originally had the game installed on my old home computer and a laptop. When I purchased the new computer for my home, I removed the license from the laptop so I could use that license on my new computer. When I tried to install the game on this new computer, it said I didn't have an available license. At this point, I figured it was an eLicense issue and contacted their support department. They reissued a license for me, and now we are all caught up. I don't imagine that this could be the problem, but that is all the information I have. I have tried twice to uninstall and reinstall the game to avail. Any other ideas?? Thanks!! |

No more suggestions?? I'd hate to pay for a game and then have it not be able to update.
That would almost remind me of ITP. ![]() I've sent another request to eLicense to see if this is an issue with the license they issued to me. I just updated the game on my old computer (which I thankfully haven't gotten rid of yet) to the most current version with no problems at all. Thanks again for the help!! Jason |

We usually close threads if they've gone without a response for seven days, as is the case with this one, as it can be assumed that the problem has been resolved.
If you'd like me to re-open the thread, feel free to PM me with a link to it. Thanks!
