May I borrow a pitcher, please?
I need to sign two starting pitcher types so that my LOW A team can have a rotation. However, there are NO pitchers available in the free agent pool at all.
I look to my arch rival's roster and see that he has 35 starting pitchers assigned to his Rookie league team. Please do something about this or I will have to file an anti-trust lawsuit against him for trying to monopolize the market.... (And baseball will only be exempt from anti-trust laws as long as they police themselves to ensure competition...)

I've noticed this problem as well though in my case the AI teams signed all of the non-pitchers and their minor league rosters were always limited to 120 players per team at most. I solved the problem by trading non-prospects for non-prospects to get players at the positions I needed.

Questdog,
I apologize that it has taken a while for you to get a response. We are trying to play catch up here in Tech Support. I have not been able to duplicate this issue, nor have I ever seen this. Is this something you are still experiencing?

I've patched the current patch, but my league still has the one computer rookie league team with 189 players. They seem to clear house on the 1st of the calendar month, but then sign them all again. The league was created prior to the patches.
I haven't made the effort to start another league post-patch. |

Hrmph. I apologize. A good number of the pitchers in this league were signed to contracts (moreso than the position players), but there are still some free agents remaining (though a number were released at the end of the previous month). I must have had a filter on last time I looked. Please disregard this.
