Hall of Fame (HOF): League-specific Induction Fix?

There was some talk about fixing the Hall of Fames to be specific to each league. It's the issue of a player that gets 480 HR in his MLB career then gets 22 HR playing one season in Japan (meeting the 500 HR Hall of Fame criteria), then is elected into the Hall of Fame for both MLB and the Japan league.

Is there an update on if this will be fixed? Can we expect it in Patch 1.0.3?

Agreed, this is very annoying.

Well, since 1.0.3 is out, I'd guess probably not.

IIRC, it was a design decision, and wasn't really fixable in a patch. Let's hope that we can get it changed for the next version.

I apologize for the amount of time it has taken to get a response. Yes, this was a design decision for the game and could not be changed in the patch. Since this is not technically a bug, it would be best to post this in the wishlist forum for 2007. Thanks.
