Roster Sets Lahman Database

1. Could somebody please give me a step by step on how to get the latest rosters into the game? I don't even know where to find the lahman database, and I wouldn't even know how to import the rosters once I got there.

2. If I bought the game after the patches came out are the patches already installed or do I have to do that myself? Thanks.

If on your opening page it says '1.03 build 12270' or something similar, you have the latest version, but really every game bought since mid-September should be the current build. {1.0.3.12270}

Sorry I can't help with the rosters, but I'm having problems with that myself.

Bumping this in case any historical simmers can help our friend skizzle out with how to do that.

You can get the Lahman Database here: http://www.allsimbaseball.com/index....d=21&Itemid=54

Whe starting a new game follow these steps to import the teams and players:

1. Click "New Game"
2. Click "Add Historical Major League"
3. Locate your Lahman Database (hopefully, you've already unzipped it)
4. Click on "Master.csv" and then hit "Confirm"
5. Make your selections and the game will import the players in a few minutes or so depending on your computer
6. Then you'll be taken back to your original "Create New Game" screen where you can add minor leagues, make adjustments to league rules, etc. if you want.
7. When you're finished, click "Start Game"

Enjoy!

Fidel,

Ok I downloaded the most recent roster update from the site you gave me. Now after I click "add historical major league" this is what I did.
1. Clicked on "My documents"
2. Clicked on the file "MLB 2007" which is what the database saved under
3. and it doesn't give me anything that says "master.csv"

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I made sure that I unzipped the files. I clicked on the floder and hit "extract files" so I really don't know where to turn. Is there anything I'm missing?

Correction Fide, you the man!! I guess the database I was using originally was faulty or something. I'll have to start my game in 2005, but who cares right? Thanks for everything!!

Good luck when you get to second season and "attempt" to import rookies for the draft.....

If you want 2006 rosters, let me know and I'll explain that for you.
