Adding Historical League leads to game crashes

This topic could be already covered somewhere, but could not find.
My appology if it has been covered and answered before.

I would like to run a historical solo league, where there are MLB, and NPB (Japanese Pro Baseball League), starting from around 1940's.
There is a great NPB historical database created by murmur13, that is set up to be played along with MLB historical database.
Japanese roster/historical database project

Somehow, I am not able to set up the two historical leagues at the same time, even though I tried every possible way to do it right. (changing the import orders, setting up the game setups defferently..... all kinds of things) Importing the first database is just fine, but everytime I try to import the secont database, the game crashes.....

I thought at first, this problem is something to do with the database (not saying it is murmur13's fault, but some kind of chemistry problem between the database and my Macintosh???), but the same thing happens with other historical databases.

Even when I set up my fictional league, and try to add a historical league, the game crashes.

I hope someone has an idea what the problem would be, or at least would like to know if there is anyone who has the similar problem as mine.

FYI, I use Macintosh MacBook Pro with the Intel core2 duo Pross.
So, I suppose it is not a "PC Horse Power problem"....

Many thanks in advance for any helps here...

Two Choices

Either combine the CSV files into one large import

OR

After you import the first db import individual teams from the second db. (like you would to have a league containf NY Yankees 1923 and 1927 and 1961 and so on.

Did either of these solutions fix your problem, myasu?

Thanks for your help, Spritze.

Could you explain how I can combine two CSV files into one large import?
The second option (first import the db and then add the individual teams) did not work. Well...I could import two teams, and then the game crashed while importing the third team.

Okay, I was able to duplicate your issue (it is the league wizard that crashes it) and found a work around. Do the following:

1. Add your first historical league using the league wizard mode, get everything setup, and click start game.
2. Now, do not use the league wizard to add the second historical league.
3. Go to game setup.
4. Click on league setup.
5. Click Add league.
6. Click create historical league.
7. Select your path to the database, choose your year, and click next.

Everything should import fine. Good luck.

Thanks a lot Nutlaw,

It is funny, but you are right.
It happens only when I try to add more than one league using the Wizard.

I had no problem adding the leagues WITHOUT using the Wizard!

This has been claimed fixed for the next patch. If after installing the (as yet unreleased) third patch, you find this to still be an issue, please post the above TT number in Tech Support so that it the issue can be re-opened. Thanks.
