Can't Delete Coaches!

Hello!

I'm using the CFhb_v3.0 roster set, and am managing the Cubs. I'm finding that, while in commissioner mode, I cannot delete the coaches in the Iowa AAA team. I want to either edit the coaches that are there to match the current coaches in Iowa, or remove them, because their contract expired in 2006, and I'm playing in 2007. But I can't fire them because their contract isn't valid, and I can't hire them because I don't have an opening! Is this a database issue that can't be resolved, or is there another workaround?

Can I assume that this is a problem with the database, and not with the game, and that there's no way around it?

I would try PMing the guy who made that database or roster set to find out what he thinks about it. I believe that's a good general policy anytime something goes wrong with a mod that works with the basic game.

Other than that, the best advice I have is that bumping threads down here in Tech Support is contraindicated because the general policy is to look at the oldest threads first, and bumping makes all things new again.

This is a database issue related to those coaches not having contract values.
