scout tasks won't save

yeah it's me again with another problem
sorry!
sheesh!
anyways, the latest is this....
i started my league with scouting off (without realizing it COULD be off). then I wondered why i had no scouts. You guys helped me figure out whey, but now that i turned scouting on and hired scouts, their tasks i give them just won't stick. I tried hitting "Enter", i tried saving right after giving them tasks. -nothing works.
when i leave the screen and go back to my scouts, their tasklist is EMPTY.

so...i was forced to turn scouting back off.
any ideas?

Were you playing in Commissioner mode? This sounds like it might be caused by playing in Commish mode, and 'Acting As' a team, instead of being fully hired by a team.

If that sounds like what might be happening, try this:

-stay in Commish mode;
-go to Manager menu --> Available Jobs;
-find the team you want to GM for, and apply for the job (you'll get it!);
-turn Commish mode off (from Manager menu --> Options).

Then try the scout tasklists again. This might also be the issue in the other thread you've posted, about in-game subs.

Does that seem to be the issue? If not, I'm not sure I can be any help.

its definitely the act as. I had the same problem. once I took the job of a team scouts behave. I was also able to scout the draft class too.

yeah. thanks guys. that WAS the problem...erm...SOLUTION.
it also fixed my other problem about the substitutions.
