Game locks up

I am using "CFhb_v2.1" as my data base. Every July 10th, like clock work, my game locks up and I can not do anything.

The pop up errors basicly read
Error Division 1 has no starting pitchers
Error no substitute pitchers found
Error Division 2 has no starting pitchers
Error no substitute pitchers found

Has anyone else had this issue? If so how do I fix it? I would appreciate any help.

It sounds like one of your feeder leagues doesn't have enough players. You could try one of two things:

-turn on ghost players (Game menu --> Game Setup --> League Setup --> Options; it's the checkbox 'Allow incomplete minor league rosters');

-use, in Game Setup, the function 'Fill rosters with fictional players'. Your existing players will not be affected, but any rosters that are incomplete will be filled up with newly generated players.

You should only need to do one of the two things above- with ghost players, the game won't create any new players, so that option might be preferable if you are using a real-life roster set.

If there was a feeder league at one point that was deleted, there may be a deeper issue, and the above suggestions may not work. It's my understanding that these issues are being addressed in the upcoming patch, and they're difficult to solve in the currrent version of the game. In any case, let us know whether the above suggestions solve your issue.

I will give #2 a shot since I already have game set to use "Ghost Players" I had hoped at first taht would fix the issue.

If ghost players are already on, that makes me less optimistic there will be an easy fix. Still, try option 2- the option is called 'Fill teams with fictional players', and it's halfway down the list of functions- Game --> Game Setup --> League Setup --> Functions. I'd recommend saving a backup of your league first, just in case this function produces a result you don't want. Good luck!

Oh shoot I thought I'd answered this LOL.
Sadly, neither worked so I had to start over form scratch. Which was cool since I am doing my own roster set (using Cubbyfan & hasbeen as a starting point)
Again, sorry I never answered this before I really thought I had.

This was sounding like a roster set-related error combined with the deleted leagues issue that should fixed for the next patch.
