Re-Scouting & Reports Don't Change

I brought this up before, but frankly it's easier just to bring it up again. Sorry. If I recall, it wasn't TT'd. Someone indicated it was just that way it was. Nevertheless, this still disturbs me.

Example. The date is 08-11-2001. Looking at a player profile, his overall/potential reads 28/47 while viewing him with say, your Head Scout dated 01-01-2011. On the Scouting Reports page, it lists the same date, same potential of 80, i.e. 47/80. You quick-scout him with the Head Scout and find his opinion has altered, although minimally to 34/51. You know this because it changes on the player profile page. Go to the Scouting Reports page however, and the date has changed next to the Head Scout line, but the overall/potential still reads 47/80, not 51. And this is always the case. The Reports page updates date, but not the far right column, while the player profile page provides the last info by switching scout view.

Are you saying that quick scouting won't change the scouting report page, only the player profile? Are you saying that the scouting report page and player profile are using different scales? Are you saying that the scouting report page doesn't update OVR and POT ratings to match changing scales in the league?

I'm not sure which one you're referring to, but I may have an answer to each. :P

I'm saying that quick-scouting updates the player profile, updates the scouted date on the report page, but not the potential rating on the report page. I'm referring to the last column on the scouting reports page referencing the potential rating out of the X scale where X is the max on the scale. Otherwise, scale is irrelevant to this issue.

Does it update all of the other fields in-between the date and the overall potential rating?

I wish I could say with certainty; I'll have to get back to you on that one with a confirmation one way or the other.

All right. While investigating the answer to your question as my new season begins, I find that everything is working without any discrepancy. None. All the ratings seem to update, including the overall/potential on both pages.

I have no idea why, suddenly, I'm not seeing this behavior any longer.
