relievers don't warmup during rain delay

I have the latest patch and always play out games in my solo league...I start warming up a reliever as my starter has let 2 men on and is at 96 pitches. A batter or two earlier, it started to rain. There is a 45 minute rain delay.

I want to pull my pitcher, obviously...but my reliever remains in the "warming up" mode that he was in before the rain delay. So I have to pitch with my starter and of course the guy gives up a 2-run double. Ugh.

Sounds like your reliever didn't want to pitch/warm up in the rain which seems logical to me.

After a rain delay it should consider any pitcher you put in as warmed up. So if you make the change, after a rain delay, before a pitch is thrown the game needs to treat him as completely warm.

After a rain delay the pitcher is allowed to warm up. Especially after a 45 minute rain delay the umpires wouldn't have the starter walk out and throw 6 or 7 pitches and call the batter up.

I would just turn off warmup. It may just be me but I don't need the detail of warming up pitchers. I have a tough enough time remembering that the pitcher is going to bat the next inning (I manage in the AL) when I play NL teams.

no, it's not logical. the game is not appreciating the fact that this guy had 45 minutes to get warm and be ready to pitch once the tarps came off. it's thinking that he's only had one at-bat to get warmed up on, which is false.

it's a bug.
