Importing 6.5 League

I posted a question about importing a 6.5 league and it was moved to closed - sorry I didn't respond sooner.

I understand the steps that are needed but I do have one question which may be silly - how do you set a league to opening day? I have played through a season etc etc and tried to import at virtually every step in the offseason with no success. Am I missing something?

I believe that a 6.5 league would need to be on April 1st in order to convert to 2007. Were you using that date at any point?

Have you managed to make any progress with this, teejay? Have you tried converting any other 6.5 leagues just to test it?
