Corrupt saved game file
Hello,
I am into the 7th season of my game (mac version), and all of a sudden the saved game won't load. When trying, I receive an error message saying that the file is corrupt. Fortunately, I made a back-up file for the game about a month ago, but I don't know how to access the back-up file / use it to replace the now damaged one. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, Justin |

Justin i have a PC so i hope i can come close to helping you. I've seen this error. You need to navigate to your saved games and open that league folder. Like i said i don't know how Mac's look at things but inside your league folder you should have .dat files example- coaches, coaches.bak
players, players.bak and so on. Close your game. Remove the dat files that have a matching .bak file. Change the .bak file to a .dat file simply by removing the .bak extension from it's name and adding a .dat extension. Open your game, all should be well. FYI to answer your question on how to use your back up files that you've made. Open the folder with the date stamp of your backup. Should read backup followed by a group of numbers and drag and drop those files to your league folder to replace. Hope this helps |
