League File Crashes Game.

I've bought OOTP5, OOTP6, OOTP 2006 and now OOTP 2007 and will continue to buy these games, but I'm having a lot of trouble loading rosters into OOTP 2007 where I didn't in any previous version.

I downloaded CubbyFan's new roster set off of PadreFan's mod site and am extracting the files into my 'saved_games' file in 'My Documents'. When I go to load the league it gives me a runtime error and the game crashes.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. I'd really like to enjoy this game because it looks like the best yet.

Can you open up the .lg folder in question and list all of the folders and .dat files found there?

Just to verify, you put the folder at C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\My Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\saved_games? Also, you haven't changed the directory of your saved games data from within OOTP?

The file names in the .lg file are as follows:
ballcaps, jerseys, news, settings, import_export, messages, page_links, temp

The .dat files are as follows:
coaches, faces, messages, nations2, options, players, scouting, trades, world, ethnicities, human managers, names, offers, parks, retired, teams, weather

Everything else you asked was fine. I actually downloaded and installed another roster and it worked just fine. But for some reason, this one isn't. I've downloaded it several times and tried, but I get nothing but the runtime error. I tried exporting it as a new file into the saved_games folder and also tried creating a league and exporting the roster pack into it, replacing all other existing files.

Thanks a ton for the help. I can't wait to dig into this game.

Hrm. It looks like everything is there. Are any of those .dat files empty (i.e. have a size of zero bytes)?

Are you using the most recent patch, 2.0.2.53?
