Roster Import Function Creates Blank Teams

I exported the roster.txt file, edited a name and then re-imported. Every team is now blank. The free agent list is still populated, but every player that was on a major league or minor league team has now dissapeared.

All teams are human controlled and set to not allow roster changes and I also made sure to clear any filters.

Its just a simple export/import and I can recreate this using the same process every time. Any ideas? Does the import function just not work?

Quick update...the players are definitely still in the game because when I go to Free Agents and then show all players, everyone is in the game. They are just not showing up on lineup/pitching/transaction screens.

When I try to sim I receive an error message:

"New York has an illegal number of players on the active roster (0)."

If I go to show all players and click on a player, all the players are listed on the correct teams. BTW, I am using 2.0.2.53.

Is this an online league ?

Try going to your teams transactions page and using the Import/Export button Import Team. All players for that team will appear.

If it's a solo league i've tried to duplicate your efforts and cannot. I go through Game setup\League setup and use the export rosters, it creates a .txt naturally and i edited a few names, saved the file and closed it. It imports with the changes; that same .txt file, and all players appear.

That did work. I imported from FTP and my whole team showed up, including the changes I made. Very interesting.
