Database is corrupted!

I just installed the patch. I have a Saved Game that I have been playing since Version 5 that I have imported from V5 to V6 to 2006 and 2007. I have over 150 years of league history. I am very attached to this league. However after installing the patch tonight I tried to load up the league and I got this error: "The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from and old version." I just played yesterday with no problems! Does it have to do with the patch? Or is it because it came from 2006? Any ideas?

I am embarrassed and relieved to inform you that this was a stupid mistake on my part. I keep this league on a external hard drive and while I turned it on, I forgot to plug it in! D'oh.
