New Patch - FaceGen not initialized

I just realized that that I wasn't getting pictures for new players appearing in a fictional league (FaceGen was set up for Majors only, on demand) I set up a few weeks back. My player/picture options now shows "FaceGen not initialized". I've not had any FaceGen issues, ever.

This is undoubtedly an issue that corresponds with my application of the most recent patch.

Should I just uninstall, reinstall? Any other thoughts?

Well, can you reinitialize FaceGen? If not from your league options, can you do it from the OOTP Preferences screen?

For what it's worth, I managed to get it working by changing the mode eventually to Troubleshooting 2 and it came back initialized.

I changed the mode to all three possibilities, restarting the game each time, and only in troubleshooting 2 did the FaceGen initialize again.

Hope this helps anyone else with this issue.

Yep. The lesson here, I suppose, is to exhaust all options before you assume it can't be fixed. Should have done it before I posted.

Unusual anyway though.
