Missing minor league personnel ????

My minor league teams have no personnel. At the end of each year, very few coaches are available to sign. Am I missing something in the league setup? Or is something mising in the program?

Which version of the game are you using and what mode are you playing in? Fictional, historical, modern-day MLB rosters? Are you using the default MLB quickstart or someone else's roster set? Which version of OOTP are you using?

Assuming that you are using the included MLB rosters in OOTP 8 pre-version 13, there was a fix for this issue provided that you re-download the game:

Again: OOTP 8 patch released! New version # is 8.0.0.13

Does that solve your problem?

Thanks for the reply, nutlaw. I am playing OOTP 8 with the new patch with modern rosters. I simply selected the major league button on the opening screen. I downloaded the patch and installed it properly, but did not reinstall the game. Was I supposed to download a second game. If so, how do I do that without having to pay again?

I downloaded the game again. It says I have the latest update. Still no minor league personnel. Is there a game/league option that I am missing?

As I understand it, that the fix would only apply for new games created with a full re-install of the game with 8.0.0.13. Managers wouldn't be added for existing saved games. If you start up a new game after uninstalling and re-installing the game, do you have an adequate number of managers?
