Is this OOTP8 or 2007?
What OS are you using? Try using only the .DAT files in a new league folder and see if that will load.

Did you try using only the .DAT files?

I am having the same problem. I switched to ootp2008 on windows vista and I am trying to load my online league. The league file is in place and it shows up available to load from the game screen, but when i hit ok to load, it gives me "Loading Database Failed" It says it is a corrupt file or an old saved games file. But the file is from the latest 2007 update from my online league so that shouldn't be an issue........help....is it vista that is causing these problems?

guess no one is going to have an answer for this...seems like a pretty big problem...you can't switch over your leagues from XP computers to Vista computers?
strange and frustrating |

Bhay,
I'm just going to send you a PM asking for the .dats. I've got both an XP and Vista machine so can see what happens.

I loaded up loeffle's dat files ok on my desktop XP version of OOTP so I don't believe the dat's to be corrupt.

I sent him a PM on the 21st asking for the dat files but looking at his profile he hasn't been on since the 19th so as of yet I've not received anything from him to check

I am having the exact same problem with the online league I just signed up for. No one else in the league has complained of any problems, but I get the same message on my Vista computer as others have mentioned. I have another computer running XP, I will try running it on that computer and let you know.
