dfa runs out (locked up)
Okay it tells me I have a DFA that runs out but I can not find anyone on my club that fits. None shown up on the screens.
I try to go on vacation with everything set to ai manager but it won't get past the dfa. No player shows under dfa or waivers. Help? Last edited by lwa11; 06-04-2008 at 09:50 PM. Reason: more info added |

Hrm. Alright. I'd like to take a look at your league, then.
Please FTP a zipped copy of your .dat files to us and let us know the filename per the following instructions: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-files-us.html |

Alright, I released all of your players and did a player search, then sorted by team name.
I found four players in the list who didn't show up on your roster. Middle relievers Rob Brown, Tadayuki Nishizawa, Tore Proctor, and Salvador Sanchez. It looks as if at least a couple of those guys were recently drafted. You may have flooded your minor league system with too many players after that draft. 85 rounds is far too many. You might want to think about cutting back quite a bit. Releasing the four players listed, closing and restarting the game found me 1B Armando Medras and RF Ramon Vejo. Releasing those two got me past the problem. So, do a player search for Rob Brown, Tadayuki Nishizawa, Tore Proctor, Salvador Sanchez, Armando Medras, and Ramon Vejo. Release each one. For next season, cut back on your draft rounds substantially. That should fix your problems. Please let me know if it works for you. |
