2 questions

Sorry to trouble you on this busy day, but, here goes with 2 questions:

1. How do I play an exhibition game between teams from different minor and major leagues? The drop down doesn't seem to allow this.

2. How can I be in 'one-pitch' mode while watching games (not managing) No matter what button I push, it always goes into 'pitch -by-pitch' mode

1) I don;t think that this is possible. Only teams among the same league are possible.

2) You should be in one pitch mode just by hitting enter when it's 2 Computer controlled teams.

Hope this helps

1. I think if you go into Game Setup and along to League Setup you can setup such an exhibition game using the "Edit League Schedule" option.

for 2 you can also click the simulate at-bat button at the bottom of the in-game screen or hit the space bar.

Also, on #1, I have been able to make it work if I pick the league I'm in using the Select League function in the upper right before I try to do an exhibition. However, it only works if you select the minor league team to be the home team first (and even then not consistently, per this thread: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...p9-issues.html)

It's been reported.

True. However, all other games that I know of (Strat, DMB, APBA/BBW, Puresim, etc) allow you to let the game get on with it without having to press buttons, and not to sit through every pitch. Let's face it, there is a one-pitch/pitch by pitch option button on the screen when you play comp v comp, so there must be a bug. The button doesn't make a blind bit of difference.

Some of my best memories of APBA/BBW are setting it to comp v comp and listening to good ol' Ernie Harwell call the game from beginning to end.

Now that OOTP has sound again, reading the 'poetry of baseball' flow by in an uninterrupted stream is very appealing.

As there has been no updates to this thread in the last 3 days and the questions are more questions/suggestions than bugs, I'll move it to closed.
