havin some problem here...this is what i wrote in terminal
"/Users/marc-oliviernoel/.Out of the Park Developments/OOTP Baseball 9/config/app" doesnt seem to work for me, do i need to put the dot before out of the park developments cuz i dont have it on my folder Last login: Wed Jun 18 22:06:59 on ttys000 mo:~ marc-oliviernoel$ "/Users/marc-oliviernoel/.Out of the Park Developments/OOTP Baseball 9/config/app" -bash: /Users/marc-oliviernoel/.Out of the Park Developments/OOTP Baseball 9/config/app: No such file or directory thx for ur help sorry |

Another new Mac user whose glad he found this thread!
I had to go through a full reinstall, as I tried messing around with the facegen folder based on another post in the FAQ. Before I reinstalled the game, however, I put the script through as directed below. The game loaded. I'm going to leave the resolution settings alone for now, as I assume you guys will test each one and develop a patch, right? Thanks for the prompt service!!! |

OK, I couldn't resist. As the 20" iMac has an LCD screen with WSXGA+ resolution (1680 x 1050), I decided to try that. It worked no problem.
It would be interesting to see if anyone with a 24" iMac (which has an LCD screen with WUXGA resolution (1900 x 1200)) could set the OOTP resolution to 1900 x 1200 successfully. I tried to set it to that on my 20" iMac and had the start-up issue. I wonder (non-tech guy here) if the issue is that the computer's screen simply can't handle some of the other resolutions if they don't match. Anyway, thanks again... interested to see if you can figure out the cause! |
