ootp 9 wont start on my pc

Hi.. I downloaded and installed OOTP9... I prepaid in May.

The install went fine.. it made icons on my desktop and the appropriate folder.

when I doubleclick on the icon on the desktop or the folder, nothing happens. I went to taskmananger and the program nwever starts (it isnt simply getting hung up)

I have Vista 32 bit
Athlon dual core processor
2 GB RAM...

Any ideas what I can do?
If it doesnt work for me for whatever reason can I get a refund?

I was so bummed out when it didnt work (have bought since ootp 5 or 6 ..)

Hi dac4m!

Try right-clicking on the icon and selecting "Run as Administrator."

I think that's the option in Vista...I'm on XP, so not 100% sure. Can someone with Vista please confirm?

Yes, right click, run as admin and it should work perfect. You should be able to normally double-click on the icon after doing the run as admin that first time. Let us know if it works for you.

I had the same problem last night and can't really check right now since I'm unfortunately at work. Please tell me that worked so I can have something to look forward to tonight.
