Sims a little slower
I ran a season for a continuing league, and the game seemed to run slower than OOTP 8. I'm using a Mac G4 running OS X 10.4.11. I've been careful to police the various text files the game generates, and there aren't that many player pictures, since they're created on demand. (Nice nighttime background, by the way.) Can you think of a setting I should change or anything?
Thanks. |

No, I'm not saving any of that stuff. I do have detailed stats on at the big-league level but not below, and before each season I get rid of all the text files it's okay to remove from the news/html folders.

Do you have the OOTP folders excluded from Spotlight indexing? You can set that up in the Privacy tab of the Spotlight section of System Preferences. There's two folders to exclude this year... the one in the Applications folder and one in user/Documents.

As there hasn't been an update to this thread for over 3 days and adding OOTP folders to AV ignore lists seems to be the solution for this, I'm moving this to closed. If it is still happening, please do hesitate to open a new thread.
