Crash While Saving Data On 31st (Historical)

Well, on my first historical test-sim on OOTP9 (Built-in Lahman DB), the game crashed on the 31st December of 24th year. (I started the sim from 2007, and it was the year 2031 or 2032 I saw the crash)

I use MacBook Pro with 2.33 Fhz intel Core 2 Duo Processor, running Leopard (10.5.3).

It seems like my fictional league is OK.

Similar thing has happened with OOTP8 several times.

Do you have FaceGen enabled? If so, could you try disabling it to see if the problem repeats itself?

Sure Nutlaw,

I will try that and get back here.
Thanks always for your support!

It did not crash after 50 years test-sim w/o FaceGen this time.

I guess my memory (2gb) on Mac is not enough to hold all the data with FaceGen files?
Do you think that is the case?

Hrm. No, I would think that 2 GB would be more than enough.

What happens if you re-enable FaceGen in the league that just went 50 years? Will it crash on you at the end of the year again?

No, Nutlaw.
It would not crash.

I started to think that the first crash was one of those rare case.
As I know you guys are terribly busy, let me take down this thread for now, and I will see if I experience this again.
The next time, I will try to be more specific.

Thanks anyways for your support, Nutlaw.
You guys have been always amazing.
