Unable to relieve pitcher in exhibition game

As title. Not sure what of this info will be relevent, but:

Using Windows version.
MLB quick-start.
Playing in the off-season (December).
First noticed when playing an expansion team, but I just checked and it affected a game against the Mariners too.

Basically, I go to the subs menu, do everything as I would normally, but it just resets and doesn't relieve them. The only way to get a player relieved is to use the Quick-inning option, which obviously isn't optimal.

Need any more info & let me know.

This happened to me, in an exhibition game, after a brawl. Also, I couldn't figure out how to cancel the game so I had to force quit, which is never comforting. I'm on a Mac.

was the exhibition game also between your league's playoffs and December 31st?

Tinis could you verify that this happens in exhibition games year-round and not just at the end of the season?

Other questions for both of you:
Was the warm-up rule in effect?
Were you using the baseball drop down to set up the exhibition game or did you set it up through the schedule editor?

It was definitely before December and after the playoffs. I'll try verifying for other times soon: currently trying to generate pictures and it's taking a looong time.

I had the warm-up rule turned off, and used the baseball drop down to auto-schedule it.

could you try scheduling one via the schedule editor and tell me if the problem still shows up?

Well.. that's odd. I just tried to replicate it again, first in a seperate game (in November-ish, then another in December-ish) and it worked fine on both. Then loaded up the save game where I originally experienced it, played another game (on December 1st) and it also worked fine. I haven't changed anything in the save, either; nor have I upgraded to patch 1 yet. Odd.

As a one-time issue that we can't reproduce, I'm not sure that we can get to the bottom of this? Would you mind it if we closed this thread until such time that the issue might repeat itself?
