BZ 1108: manager garbage emails on manager signing

I signed a new minor league manager.
a) I got a message saying I had best offer.
b) I got a message saying he would sign
PROBLEM:
c) I got about TEN messages saying that he would sign elsewhere
d) he signed with my team.
This all happened on the same day.

I am using OOTP9.

This was seen during testing, but it was usually just 3 emails. I've reopened BZ#1108.

I assume the answer is no, but you didn't offer him more than one job, by chance?

I have also been getting messages from managers who are not with mt team. They say they don't like the offer even though I never made one.

I've been trying to look around the forum to see if anyone has had this problem but I havent seemed to find any threads about this.

Randomly I will get emails from random managers and coaches saying how I have to increase the salary for them to join my team, the thing is that I havent offered jobs to anyone and my current coaching staff are still all employed. It gets very annoying when I'm simming and constantly get stopped for personal messages.

i've run into this problem now.

i offered a contract to a pitching coach. he accepted. and now everyday for a month and a half to two months, everyday he sends me a message telling me how he's happy with the offer and he's gonna sign it...

and to add to it...i looked and a guy that declined all of my contract offers was my pitching coach.
