crash during save, and now will not load

My game crashed during a save, and the result is a messages.dat file with a size of 0. This file will not load and it freezes my game upon loading. I do not have a backup.

Size of 0 means that file no longer exists in any meaningful way. You will need to begin again.

That is what I figured. Guess I will be making backups each week.

You might try creating a test league, then copying its messages.dat file into the damaged league folder. Occasionally, that might let you load up the league (if still lose all of your messages).

Ok I tried what you suggested and I am able to load the league. It will still crash upon saving and I have to repeat this to do anything. I have tried to delete all messages or not after I copy over the bogus file, and this doesn't solve the problem. I tried to make a backup of my league, and now it crashes every time I try to access my roster.

Could you follow the instructions in the "how to FTP files to us" and we'll get someone to look at it as it should save correctly.

Have you had problems saving other leagues or is this your first league?
