Resolution Solve Won't Work

Sorry for trying to post another thread on the resolution problem for Mac without checking the must check thread first.

But now that fix is not working. My files appear to be in the applications folder, but I've tried to enter every combination of folders possible and none will work. The game still won't load. So can somebody go in a little bit more detail on that fix, specifically if your game is in the applications folder?
