Game crashes when trying to load a saved league

I tried to reload a saved league.

2. What happened? Was there an error message? If so, what was the specific message?

Got the windows game has crashed. here is the error message from event viewer.

Restarted OOTP and reloaded the save league.

PC Vista Ultimate x64

The only way I can play OOTP is restart a new league and I already did twice. Two years of league play down the drain so far do to crashes. Only good thing out of this is there is no record of my team being last two yrs in a roll. hahahha. please help me play this game. I actually like and enjoy playing it.

How much memory do you have in your machine?
Has the saved league opened in the past?
Did the league crash the last time you played it (prior to not being able to open the file)?

I have 4GB RAM.

I'm able to play league as long as it doesn't crash. Once, it crashes the league is un-playable anymore.

When is your league crashing? Is there any particular thing that seems to be triggering the crashes?
