BZ 1487: Unable to release players via drag/drop

I created a league starting in 1946 - all fictional with imported modifiers and all that. Anyway, the only way I can release players is via the action menu of each player card. I don't have a screen shot right now, but the lower box where you drag to release in the roster transactions screen says:

;DROP PLAYER HERE TO RELEASE HIM! (Use drag & drop to move players)

but, when I drag & drop a player there, I get this message:

Unable to perform invalid transaction.

This is on a black Macbook with the initial release.

Make sure you aren't dragging them from Waivers or DFA, I've seen that cause problems. Aside from that try to see if you can drag them to just outside of the marked box and see if it works, the box may be off graphically from where the game is reading.

I'm dragging from the reserve roster to the release area, and no matter where I drop them, they won't release.

this is marked as fixed for the next patch...not sure if I'll get a chance to test it before release though
