mac problem

When I try to load/continue my season, I get the following "error" message:

DATABASE::load_database - could not load world file.

I then click "ok" and a box appears that says:

the loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version.

I cannot advance beyond this point. help!

Is the league you're trying to load a league from an earlier version of OOTP?

If so, can you use the Load OOTP 2007/8 or Load OOTP 6/6.5 options from the main screen and see if that solves the problem?

Can you load up other saved games just fine?

Did this saved game possibly crash while saving?

No to both. It crashed when I tried to load it.

Okay. Can you please try uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh copy of the game?
