Installation Problem

The installation is successfull, however, the program will not open - even to enter the license information. It does nothing. HELP!

Are you running on Vista? If so, can you right click and Run As Administrator.

If not, could you post your system specs please.

I am running as administrator, I read that last night on this forum. As far as the specs, its an AMD Turion 64X2 TL60, 2 gigs of ram and brand new. OOTP is the first program installed.

Hmm... could you try uninstalling it and reinstalling it.

If that still has the same effect, could you start the program and then look in task manager to see if there is an OOTP process running?

And then look to see if there is a LicCtrl service running (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services)

1. Re-installed and same result. Nothing.
2. There is no service running matching your request.
