I tried to install the executable patch from ootp and two mirrors. Each time it said I am missing Elicen.40.dll If I reinstall the whole game will I lose my fictional leage? It wouldn't be a heartbreaker since I'm 6 and 14. I'd hate this happening with each patch though.

Uninstalling the game should leave the documents folder (where the saved games are) untouched.

Same thing happen to me yesterday and for 10 minutes I was in panic mode, but...

Just take the executable that you have download and just replace your ootp9.exe file there

c:/program files/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP Baseball 9

With the new one, since this is not an executable patch but just a new program executable.

Just backup your old one, just in case

This error occurs when you start the ootp9.exe without the elicen40.dll in the same folder. Obviously you downloaded the file ootp9.exe and ran it from the download folder. You need to copy it into the OOTP Program folder first where the old ootp9.exe file is. Should be at C:\Program Files\OOTP Developments\OOTP Baseball 9

Or let your computer search the file ootp9.exe and replace it with the downloaded file.
