Mac: Saved Games in Wrong Place

Hello. I'm not really sure what's going on here, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Usually when I save a league it goes to hd/games/ootp9/data/saved_games. But after reinstalling with the new patch, it has been saving the games to hd/users/username/documents/ootp_developments/ootp9/saved_games. My game is still located in the first location, and the saved games folder is still there, the game just doesn't save them there. I deleted the new folder under documents, but it just created it again when I restarted the game. All that is inside the folder is a saved_games folder, with nothing inside of it, until I save. Then the league is saved there instead of in the normal saved_games folder. When I open OOTP9, it also creates another folder under documents titled OOTP9, that, as far as I can tell, has remained empty. I am terribly confused as to what's going on here.

This was a change from previous versions... like you point out, it is now saving in the Documents folder. It threw me off a bit (having stuff in 2 distinctly different folders) but all has run smooth. Is it causing you a problem set up this way?

when i tried to create a backup of a league, it also created a folder in users/username/documents/out of the park developments/ootp9 called backups, rather than in the data folder. I moved everything to the correct location and deleted the ootp9 and out of the park developments folder in documents. Now it appears that the game is saving and loading (i forgot to mention that when I hit load game it brought up the wrong folder too), but the game still creates those two folders when it starts up.

The only problem was that some leagues were in one folder and some leagues were in the other folder, and it only let me load from the second one. Not a big deal really, since now they all seem to be in the same place.

sounds like things are working OK here. I'm closing this. If you have an issue still please start a new thread. Thx.
