League not progressing?

Hello all. I am currently running an MLB league, as well as a secondary Japan league. I use the Japan league primarily as a feeder (through FA), however as my MLB season progresses, the Japan league does not.

The Japan league is a template that I created using a NPB roster set that I found for OOTP8. This is my second season, and the first went flawless. However, I am worried that when my MLB league reaches the offseason that my Japan league won't produce FA's.

I'm not sure if I'm being completely clear or not, but does anyone know how to fix this problem of my Japan league basically not progressing throughout the year? When I am in the league screen, it does not show any option to sim until a certain event, either...

When you say that the Japanese league isn't progressing, what do you mean exactly? They aren't playing games? Do they have the same schedule as your main league?

To confirm, when you use the Select League dropdown to select your Japanese league, you don't see any mention of league events?
