Problem with AI

Ever since installing patched version, if I set something for the AI to control it doesnt work. I also noticed that none of the teams were putting anyone on the DL. For example I went and looked at the NYY because they were like 30 games under .500 and they had like 7 starters injurned and none on the DL. Any way of fixing this or should I go back to the first version? It all worked with the original, and Ive tried uninstalling and all of that.

Is this using the New MLB 2008 game option?

If so, could you follow the steps in this thread

I tried every way I could, and none of them worked. I also checked those settings and they were all correct.

Could you double-check these two steps for us, please:

1. Go into Game Setup, and then along to League Setup
6. From the functions button at the bottom of the screen, choose "Set all Computer Controlled Teams to allow AI Roster Changes"
