New install problem

Well i decided to do a fresh install, and deleted all 3 folders. I go to the download site OOTP Downloads and download a full PC version. I click run and the program starts to install the files, then it stops and i get this pop up box-

Error

C:\Program files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 9\ootp9.exe
A decompression error has occured(#7)

File CRC mismatch-Data integrity error

with 3 additional buttons, Abort, Retry, and Ignore

Can somebody please help.

I hit Retry and get the same message over and over; no luck there. Repeatedly clicking Ignore approx. 30-40 times moves the install along but leaves out needed files.

Sounds like a corrupted file. Did you try downloading again?

Yes. I cleared the temp. internet files, restarted, downloaded and ran the file, but again same error message when it tries to install the files.

If you're using a PC, go through the normal Control Panel uninstall process, delete all those folders again, and make sure you include this one:

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Out of the Park Developments\

or at least the contents inside that folder. Then use the full install and report back.

Thanks endgame. I did delete all 3 folders again, defragged, emptied the temp internet files, and left it for dead until the next patch... however Larry came through in the clutch with a working link and i'm back in business.

Still doesn't solve the how or why i can't download the file from the main site. That one remains a mystery to my PC
