Game Crashes When I click Roster Tabs

This just started recently, maybe right after I installed the 1st patch, but whenever I click the Roster, Pitching, or Lineups tab the game dies. Sometime I get a message saying "microsoft visual c++ runtime library" and other times i just get the "ootp has stopped working" message. I've tried starting new games, reinstalling the game, etc. but nothing seems to change. Anyone else having this problem? I'm running Vista, btw.

This was suggested when another user was having a similar problem:

Try this:

1. Back up your league

2. Delete the faces.dat from your data directory

3. Restart the game and give it a try.

I believe this may result in people getting new faces, but it may resolve this crash. At any rate, this is why I urge you to back up your league before you try it!

I tried it, still crashes every time.

when you reinstalled the game did you delete everything (in the program files and my docs)? IF not I'd suggest doing that (not just using the uninstaller and then reinstalling).
