BZ 1815: Can't Finish the Day

I can't seem to advance beyond 08/01/2008. If there was something that needed my attention the game didn't tell me what it was. Thanks.

I'm going to move this thread to Technical Support so that it doesn't get lost in the flood of threads that is GD.

What type of league are you running?

What are the specs of your machine?

Have you upgraded to Patch 1?

I running a MAL (MLB) league.

I am using a Mac OSX.

When I check for updates, the game says its updated.

Are there any events scheduled to take place on that day? Exactly what happens when you try to sim past 8/1?

Could you please try upgrading to 9.1.0 as well?

I get stuck on 08/01/2008 every league that I've created. It won't advance past that date. Its a basic MAL (MLB) leagues with no special creations.

I have the most current version/patch downloaded. I just reinstalled it and it did no help my problem.

I am not aware of any events that need to take place that day.

Nothing happens when I attempt to move beyond the day, whatever screen I am on simply stays.

I am running the most updated version of the game. I tried reinstalling it but it did not correct the problem (using the saved game).

I even started another league with the same setting but it wouldn't go beyond that same date.

Maybe go in and check all your minor leagues under "Game Setup." I know that will be a bitch to do, but there may be some setting as far as schedule in one of them that might be causing a hang up.

Just a thought.

I appear to have an identical problem -- I can't pass 08/01/2008. Have tried 2 different leagues. I too run Mac OS X (10.4.)

I went through each minor leagues schedule and found that the Texas leagues didn't play its game that day. However, it did not make any difference once those games were played.
