Installed new version, lost all settings
Wasn't expecting to be able to salvage my crash-every-minute original MLB-roster game, and sure enough, it is lost to the ages. However, I also lost all my custom filter views, bookmarks, etc.
Only a few dozen hours wasted.

This happened to me when I uninstalled OOTP9 and re-installed the full "Patch 1" version. It wasn't a big deal because I only had three bookmarks and no custom filters yet, but this does seem to be a bit of an oversight. We never had this problem in the past because Markus usually provided "patchable" executables that would just update the original installation.
I wonder if you'd lose the bookmarks/filters if you just installed Patch 2 OVER Patch 1 instead of uninstalling first. Otherwise, I guess you can just download the OOTP executable - that shouldn't overwrite your bookmarks/filters. |

The patch thread does mention that you should just be able to install either version over your current files. No uninstallation required: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-released.html |

Anyway, it is working now but I was ready to just unload the entire thing and send it back to Marcus telling him what to do with the game.....No, I wouldn't do that but this does need to be addressed in the future, I believe.
