Question Importing league from OOTP8 is not working!

I have tried many, many times to import my historical league from OOTP8 to OOTP9 with no success. This is a league that I started in 1946 and is up to 1987.

Everytime I hit the confirm button it hangs and says OOTP not responding!

Anyone else have this problem?

Give it some time... importing can take a loooong time when it's an old league.

Took my league 45 minutes. I tried it 5 times and kept killing it and retrying... until I finally just hit the button and went to work. When I got home it had finished... so I tried again and watched it.

It'd be nice if it put up a box of some sort saying it's working... maybe have the little folder icons moving papers from one folder to the other like Windows does. You just hit the button and it even LOOKS like it's stuck. At the least I want a box that says "Action confirmed, your hold time is 38 days, 12 hours, and 15 minutes... an operator will be with you shortly."

It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.
