Too Many Trade offers!!

Hi,

Im in the 10th year of a the mlb quickstart with the game. I have the latest verion 9.1.2 Everything has been going along great, until this year.. Im getting bombarded with trade offers..

1) I now get trade offers almost every day.

2) I even get offers after the trade deadline.

Its driving me a bit crazy when i try to sim a month at a time, as it stops the game each time I get a trade proposal. ( I think there is a way to now stop the game) but still it seems like way too many offers

I havent changed anything, and my team is no more stocked with desirable players , the in previous years.

Any suggestions?

Hi I notice you haven't patched up yet. Its now 9.1.6. maybe that might help. But i'm not sure.

I'm not sure if this is what you want but I always adjust the AI Trading Frequency to Very Low and the Trading Difficulty to Hard. This reduces the number of trades across the league but also drops the number that come across my desk. Both of these are found under Game Setup>AI Options.

As you mentioned, you can also change the settings in your Manager Options. You can remove the tick next to "when you receive a trade proposal" under Exit Auto-Play. This will mean that some offers will expire before you actually see them.

I'm not sure why you are getting trade offers all of a sudden. It just may be that you have players in a certain positions that other teams lack.

Trades can still occur after the "trade deadline" so long as all players involved pass through waivers.
